The Gunnar J Cardigan is named after my grandfather, who was an incredibly creative and crafty entrepreneur with a love of nature and woodworking arts. This cardigan reminds me of his sinewy wood sculptures where he would find a root on one of his nature hikes in Northern Sweden and transform it into a modern sculpture giving it new context and appreciation as a piece of art. Knit entirely from natural materials, our cashmere wool blend, with a cable pattern inspired by a hand-knit sweater from our archives. The fit is loose and relaxed. The buttons are matte black metal crest buttons adding an urban aspect that transforms this cardigan from cabin to city.
